Grant funded places

Please ask about the free grant funding. We offer 15 hours per week Grant funded places for 2 year old depending on eligibility. 3 year funded places are available to all children, the school term after their 3rd birthday.?

Extra hours are available for an extra fee on request.

Sessions & Fees

Fees are payable weekly or monthly, by? cash bank transfer or debit/credit card (a 2% charge is applicable to credit card payments) , and Standing Orders can also be arranged if preferred. ?

All account balances must be clear and up to date at the end of each month in order to retain your place at nursery.?

If you are claiming Child Tax Credits then a minimum of 30% of the weekly fee must be paid each week until you are in receipt of the Tax Credit, after which full fees and the outstanding amount must be paid.?

In the case of fees not being paid at the end of each month the nursery reserves the right to cancel the place with immediate effect and will pursue recovery of the debt via Her Majesty?s Court. ?

Fees are non-negotiable. Please note we require one months notice if you wish to terminate your child care place fees will be charged up to our agreed leaving date.

Children can attend a variety of sessions at nursery although there is a minimum requirement of two sessions.

However , the more sessions a child attends the more they will benefit and gain from their nursery experiences.

As a full day care provider we are able to offer flexible sessions between the hours of 8am and 6pm meeting the requirements of both working and non-working families.

If your child is attending the 2 year funded session only, please note that moving them on to a school based pre-school on their 3rd birthday is not the best option for your child?s education We follow the same pre-school curriculum(EYFS) as all the local schools.

Keeping them in a settled environment until they start Primary School has be proved to be the better option. And will promote their all-round development. Too much change can cause distress and anxiety

Inclusive practices

The nursery will endeavour to meet the needs of all children regardless of their gender, race, culture or educational/medical needs and where necessary we will seek appropriate advice and training prior to the child starting nursery. ?

Should a child have specific medical needs we will request a completed Care Plan prior to your child starting, this will detail the specific needs of the child and the approach nursery staff must take to ensure continuity of care.

For all administration of medication a consent form must be completed and signed by the parent/carer.?

Ofsted states that at The Nursery our Staff have a good knowledge and?

Understanding of children?s individual needs, they provide a stimulating atmosphere for all children under thier care.
